ON DEMAND CPD Roof Coverings

Overview:

There are many different types of roofing materials, and variations within those types.   This CPD will be useful for when doing a building survey, or maintenance inspection, on any structure.  We will look at thatch, slate, clay tiles and stone tiles as well as more modern options.

Topics covered:

In this session, we will:

• Understand the common roofing materials and their defects
• Consider the difficulties faced when making decisions for roof repairs
• Learn about previous repair options that have failed

Suitability

This training is suitable for everyone, regardless of background or experience.   No prior knowledge or qualifications is required.  It is taught in English, so you must have a good use of the English language.

The training is intended to be of most value to RICS surveyors but it will also be useful to surveyors who are members of other professional groups, students, post-grad students, apprentices and those who might be seeking a career change later in life.

Format

This CPD training will be delivered online. This training qualifies for 1 hour formal CPD.
